Turku is a port city in the South of Finland with 175.000 inhabitants. It is a modern city with a small historic city center where influences from the Russian occupation can still be seen.
And Turku was the city where in the 3rd week of May the national exhibition for water treatment, sewerage systems and municipality technology was being held. Coincidentally or not, it was held in the same week when the same type of exhibitions were held in Stockholm(Zweden) and in Lelystad (The Netherlands).
Around 5,000 persons visited the 3-days during Turku exhibition, the Finnish RAVO dealer, Oy Machinetool saw chance to create a booth which attracted some important customers from divers municipalities.
Besides FAYAT group sweeper products Mathieu and RAVO, Oy Machinetool Sales Manager, Mr. Kim Bergstrom, was also demonstrating a crash cushion device mounted on a Truck. This spectacular object caught eye and curiosity of various passing people and in many cases thus automatically leaded them to the booth. Once being on the booth the prospects could also have a closer look to the RAVO sweeper product.
