Ravo's Swedish distributor, OP System, organized January 20, 2011 a special Ravo demo day on their premises in Billeberga. 14 Customers were present to have a closer look at the Ravo 4- and 5-Series and have a play with the sweepers themselves.
OP System
OP System has been Ravo distributor since a couple of years but in 2010 the cooperation really started to take place when they appointed a special sweeper salesman, Magnus Haneland. To promote Ravo further OP System ordered a 5-Series demo unit and took part in various exhibitions with as first result that the first Ravo
5-Series has been sold to a private contractor, Patrik von Buxhoeveden, who has just entered the sweepingbusiness in Sweden.
Sweep Off
In order to convince more municipalities and contractors of the capabilities of the Ravo sweepers a special day was organised at OP System by a new concept (since normally demo's are held at the customers premises). All the guests arrived in the early morning where a nice Swedish breakfast was served before starting the presentations. After the general presentations the after sales manager of Ravo, Tom Reijenga and the demo driver, Herman Haakman, took over and explained more about the use and operational side of the Ravo's. All this listening made the guests hungry but not for long since a barbecue was held for lunch, although the temperature was well below 0. After this feast the guests could try the sweepers themselves to get a good feel of the quality of the Ravo's. They visibly enjoyed themselves as soon as one Ravo would stand still other guests were eagerly awaiting to operate the Ravo themselves. The day was finished with a nice dinner and a game of Curling. The Sweep Off concept proved to be very successful (many further demonstrations were booked) and OP System will organize similar days in their other workshops all over Sweden: A Sweep Off Demo Tour!
