Less than 30 years ago the first Ravo was shipped to the United States of America. After this sweeper over 300 machines followed until the beginning of the 90's when the last sweeper found its way to a customer in the USA. It was then that, due to the takeover by Federal Signal, Ravo had to stop all of its activities in the USA.
In 2010 things have completely changed. Ravo is now part of Fayat Group and is back in the USA to stay. In June, the first machine arrived by airplane at Newark Airport to make it in time for the New York City Parks Show and has been very well received. The first demonstrations have been given and trade shows have been attended. Former and potential new customers have shown great interest. The first sweeper has already been sold and it won't be long before many more Ravo sweepers will help to keep the streets in the USA clean.
Ravo partners in the USA
For now Ravo sweepers will only be available on the North East coast of the USA. Ravo has started working with three carefully selected strong partners. Two of them are old Ravo partners from the past, more than 30 years ago. Whereas the third partner, E.W. Sleeper is a new partner to the team. Ravo is proud to present the following names:
